‘Everyone has a book in them.’
This is a well known saying, and I’m sure it’s right. Some people just need a little help to get the book onto paper.
That’s where I come in. I can help you write the book you want to write. And it’s easier than it sounds. During the pandemic I wrote two books for two different clients I never met, all based on a series of telephone calls with them.
Whether it’s a memoir, a biography, an academic text or a book to support your business, I’ve recent experience in all these areas.
One of the memoirs I’ve written, Call me Elizabeth, became a Sunday Times bestseller. It was also optioned for filming by Channel 4. (It was about a middle-aged mother turned call girl). You can read the reviews on Amazon.
How much help do you need?
I can be as involved as much or as little as you like.
You may just want help on structuring and editing your draft. Or you may want me to help you with conducting interviews and research. Or you may want me to write the whole book.
Everybody’s needs – and all the books that I work on – are different, but that’s part of what makes my job so interesting. No two projects are the same.
How do I get published?
I can help you put together a book proposal, and advise on your publishing options. I can advise on how to find an agent (although this can be challenging) or lay out the many self publishing options, which places the book entirely in your control.
If you have an idea for a book or want help with a book you’ve already started, please drop me a line.
